A Liitle Inscription with my Tea

One of the great benefits of having so many level 70's is that I have one of each profession. I am my own commune and rarely ever have to buy anything from the Auction House. When I heard about Inscription I knew I had to have one. I just happen to have two herbalism/Alchemists in my stables so I decided one of them would get to drop herbs and pick up inscription. Due to the fact that gathering herbs with a druid is stupid easy I decided my Palidan would be the lucky Inscriptionist and my druid gets to keep picking flowers. My husband and I were both lucky enough to get Beta Keys so we have been playing a bit to see how things will change. Today I decided I wanted to see what leveling Inscription is going to be like. I have already stockpiled a bunch of herbs to move thru leveling very quickly but I forgot to transfer them to my Pally before copying her to the beta. So I got to start from scratch. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that one short trip around Durotar gave me all the herbs I need to level to 85. Past 85 you will need to move on to the dreaded Barrens. If you exit the Crossroads on the west side and travel out to the mountains then follow the edge down to Razorfen and back up the other side you will have plenty herbs to get to 120+ in Inscription. I will suggest that you store up at least two stacks of every type of herb from low level thru outlands so you won't be competing with the hundreds of others trying to level Inscription at the same time. Any extras will most likely be able to be sold on AH for a nice profit.

I had one fun thing happen to me while gathering herbs today. I was collecting herbs in Stranglethorn Vale and decided I needed to go to a slightly lower level area and tried to use a Scroll of Recall to get back to a major city and ended up outside of town in Tarren Mill. Which just happpened to be a perfect area to get the herbs I needed. A second attempt to use the scroll landed me in Thunder Bluff. I guess these scrolls only work properly if you are level 40 and below.

What am I Drinking?

I am feeling a bit under-the-weather today so I decided I wanted a cup of my favorite comfort tea, Hojicha. I don't care if it is the flu or a hang-over this tea soothes my stomach and head better than all others. The best part maybe that I cannot make a mistake while brewing this tea and make it taste bad. You can brew it at any temp for any time period and still still tastes wonderful. What is Hojicha? It is Japanese tea made by roasting green tea. The flavor is very toasty and mellow. If you like green teas but would be willing to try something new I suggest giving this one a try.

You know your addicted to WOW when...

This week I had to re-evaluate our household budget to see where I could save money. The two extras we are currently paying for monthly is Satellite TV and World of Warcraft. We did not even consider cutting WOW. We don't watch much tv at all due to WOW so it would not be that big of a deal to cut it. I think we will opt to keep both and find other ways to cut our budget. I am willing to give up a lot before I give up my second life with all my WOW friends.

Another issue that I am dealing with in the guild is all the people who are going through expansion sickness. Literaly the day they announced that there would be another expansion after Burning Crusade we had people decide that they were going to stop playing because they would be "Wasting their time" earning more gear because they would replace it all the first day of the new expansion on. I think that train of thought is rediculous on many levels because A.) The announcement was almost a year from the actual expansion release date and there was a ton of cool additions during that time B.) Most of the people in our guild have very good gear and they will not be replacing it for many levels into the expansion. C.) If you are only playing the game for the gear than you are missing out on the real fun. My days playing World of Warcraft are more about the relationships and enjoying my time doing mundane stuff like dailys and seeing how many alliance I can kill along the way. My biggest issue right now is a group of folks who have decided to play Warhammer Online until WTLK. Most of them happen to be my core raid group so our raids are struggling a bit. We have always been casual raiders (only two 25-man raids a week) but we had a really solid group. We downed 4 bosses in Black Temple rececntly and could have gone farther but it looks like we won't be progressing any farther until at least the content patch. I am hoping that all the changes will be enough to bring people back from Warhammer to at least give them a try and see how they effect raiding.

Wow Facts about me...
What is my favorite non-combat pet? Muckbreath my baby gator. He was a prize from the daily fishing quest. I have one of these on both my Pally and Druid.

What am I Drinking?
Today I was feeling lazy but wanted a good green tea so I opted for Dragon Pearls which I can just throw a couple pearls in my cup and keep adding hot water as I drink it. It has such a wonderfully clean and sweet green tea flavor without any bitterness or tanic bite.

Welcome to my World of Warcraft and Tea

Sometimes I think my life is pretty screwed up but for me it seems to work. During the day I am the queen of tea and sell high quality teas to the masses ala Culinary Teas.com and at night and am the guild master and empress to Amangur Empire a large guild on the Twisting Nether realm. In between all that I am wife and mother of 3. Sure I am busy but I enjoy every minute of it. How do I do it all? Damned if I know, but I do.

What are my favorite teas?
I am a moody tea drinker so my tastes change by season and my mood but there are a couple I always come back to. My morning love is Scottish Breakfast, a bold tea that is all that a black tea should be. My Scottish ancestry might have some influence on my love of this tea but everyone I serve it to agrees that it is an excellent tea. My other love is our Wild Blackberry flavored black tea and our Blackberry green tea which I make as iced. I will try to always tell you what I am drinking at the moment because almost never drink the same tea more than one day in a row.

What are my characters? I am a bit of alt whore. I currently have 6 level 70 characters with 2 of them geared well enough to do Sunwell. A holy priest and a tankadin are my raiding characters but I also have a moonkin, hunter, rogue, and mage to round out my stable of level 70 characters. I play what we need to get a group going so in one day I may run as many as 3 or 4 of my characters. I think I am a pretty solid player on all my characters but opinions may vary. :)

What am I drinking right now? I am in wonder woman mode so I needed a tea to not only keep my mind clear but keep me energized. So I sit here at my work computer with a big cup of Jasmine Dragon Tears. This is a hand rolled green tea infused with jasmine which I just throw in my cup and keep adding water as I sip.

I am going to chronicle my daily life and all the ups and downs. I hope you will enjoy them with me.
